Proposed closure of Middleton Technology School Sixth Form
The proposal is to close the Sixth Form provision at Middleton Technology School on 31st August 2013.
The reason for this consultation is to tell you that following the request from the School Governing Body and public consultation, the Local Authority has now published statutory proposals to close the sixth form. There is a statutory representation period which starts on Thursday 10th January 2013 and lasts until Wednesday 20th February 2013.

Got your IGO pass yet?
From 16 May 2011 children aged 11 to 16 years must have an igo pass to pay concessionary child fares on buses in Greater Manchester. The existing GMPTE ID16 will no longer be accepted and bus companies will charge higher fares if an igo pass is not shown to the driver.
