• Improve inclusion by supporting vulnerable students when they may be failing to learn
• To provide intervention strategies for students with behavioural problems to re-engage them
• To work with students to devise strategies to manage their behaviour back in the class room
• Provide a flexible learning provision to students who are having difficulties in certain lessons
• To support students re-integratiing into mainstream
• Support students who are following the alternative curriculum.
