Science Clubs

Greenhouse club:

This is an opportunity for students to come and see how plants grow and what care is needed to make them successful and fully grown. After caring and choosing what to plant, the students hold a plant sale and sell their produce at school events such as parents evenings and school plays. The proceeds are sent to the Woodland Trust Charity as decided by our club.

So if you are green fingered, or fancy learning some gardening skills or simply want to try something new, come along to S2 every Tuesday lunch time and experience the club for yourself. All ages and abilities welcome.

Dissection Club:

This is an opportunity for students to come and see in detail and depth how to dissect various organs. Our focus varies every half term and we dissect a different organ each time. The session runs Tuesday after school once every half term.

Each session is theoretical and reinforced with practical, so not only do you practice the art of dissection, you also learn about the organ. All ages are welcome, come along and have a go. Please see Miss Crook in S2 for more details.
