KS3

Students have a music lesson each week during KS3, the music lessons will cover a range of topics including African music, Reggae music and film music.

We have also been lucky to have the Wider Opportunities initiative running in year 7. This year we have the talented Stuart Lingard from the world famous 'Brighouse and Rastrick' band. Last year we were able to enjoy tuition from Steve Walsh and Hayley Walsh.

All of the students involved get the opportunity to play a brass instrument within a whole class setting. Students have the opportunity to continue their tuition with a teacher from the music service.
