Middleton Technology School is a very high achieving 11-18 Specialist Technology School and Applied Learning Centre.

To make sure our success continues we aim to realise the full potential of all individuals within the school community (Article 28).

To do this we will:

  • Develop the talents, interests and educational hopes of all individuals (Article 29).

  • Help all members of the school community grow into responsible adults who will be the leaders of tomorrow.
  • Make sure that every learner has 5 or more level 2 qualifications by age 16 – The 100% Challenge.
  • Continue the highest standards of effective learning for all learners through excellent teaching and support by all colleagues.

  • Ensure excellent monitoring and evaluation strategies are at the heart of all we do.
  • Use all our resources and talents to support the global learning community.

Our Mission Statement is underpinned by the United Nations Conventions on the rights of a Child Articles 3, 12, 14, 15, 23, 28, 29, 31 and 36 This statement was prepared by the School Council June 2008
